李振华：能否介绍一下你的作品？Can you provide an introduction to your artwork?

刘真辰：有时候，我觉得这个世界就像万花筒，线性的，循环的。历史企图不断告诉我们新的东西，如同万花筒，每一圈都会出现新的形态，但事实是，我们所看到的总是同样的元素。透过“万花筒”这个视频装置，观众可以看到一些新闻图片，日常快照，周围发生的碎片。真实，谎言，美丽，丑陋… 绚烂缤纷的装饰图像，令人着迷，眩晕，把人“催眠”。“万花筒”使一切都变得美丽融洽。

李振华：你作品中技术和方法，以及美学的关系如何？Can you describe the issues of technique, methods and aesthetics that you deal with in your creations?

刘真辰：这个作品是用电脑合成的，通过当代人的心里，道德，精神，来理解作品，与之发生的关系。

李振华：能否谈谈你认为的当代艺术是什么？In your opinion, what is contemporary art?

刘真辰：当代艺术是游戏。

李振华：你认为的好的展览需要做到什么？What should a good exhibition achieve?

刘真辰：无论是批评或赞扬，好的展览都应该成为一个在相当长时间里人们议论的话题。

李振华：你如何看待作品和将要面对的观众？能否描述他们将会是谁、年龄多大、男女，或其他？To what extent can you predict or plan for the encounter between your artwork and the beholder? Is it possible to imagine and take account of who they might be, how old they are, what gender roles they might adopt…?
